Randal Mullings

Hello, I’m Dr. Randal Mullings, co-founder of Trifecta. I have over 20 years of experience in the behavioral healthcare industry, with a strong focus on addiction and family systems.

Inspired by George Eliot's quote, "It's never too late to be what you might have been," I've sought to create opportunities for individuals to maximize their abilities and find renewed hope and purpose in life.

Throughout my career, I’ve developed numerous clinical programs and have had the privilege of supervising and managing clinical staff at some of the nation’s leading substance abuse treatment facilities. I've also held various positions at these facilities, including Family Director, and Clinical Director.

In addition to my work in treatment centers, I served as the Chief Clinical Officer for a technology-based company, where I led the development of a telecare platform aimed at educating and supporting families in balancing technology use. I’ve also conducted clinical workshops for family offices across the Caribbean and North America, offering executive coaching to high-net-worth individuals and their families addressing addiction, relationship issues, governance, legacy planning, and systemic recovery.

I've had the opportunity to consult with the Broward County School Board, working alongside principals, guidance counselors, and teachers to create clinical interventions for students in need of support.
I’m a licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Qualified Supervisor for both Mental Health Counseling and Marriage/Family Therapy.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, and a Doctoral Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I also contribute regularly to blogs and magazines focusing on mental health, substance abuse, and family therapy. I was also honored to be recognized by curbed.com as one of the best therapists in New York.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy traveling, reading, writing blogs, attending sporting events, and spending quality time with my family and friends.
