Ryan Hanson

Greetings! I have over 20 years of experience in behavioral healthcare, blending clinical expertise, creative program development, research, and organizational leadership. I value authentic and compassionate communication, loyalty, and effectiveness, which has helped me drive positive outcomes for clients, organizations, and families. I incorporate Margaret Tyson’s statement “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care” in all aspects of my life.

My therapeutic experience is broad, covering sexual health, grief and loss, career development, addiction, mental health, and process-driven disorders. I take a holistic, systemic approach to care, considering the whole individual and offering pathways to healing and balance.

My clinical work has led me to develop innovative programs that incorporate creativity, data-driven decision-making, and best practices. I've led teams who have successfully built sustainable and profitable programs in start-ups, not-for-profit centers, and large healthcare corporations. My knowledge base extends to areas such as board management, state licensure, program accreditation, and facility oversight.

I’ve held executive and C-suite positions, formerly serving as the Chief Strategy Officer for an innovative start-up to help individuals find meaning and direction with responsible use of screens and technology. Most recently, I’ve served as the Chief Operations Officer for a mental and therapeutic wellness center to help high performing clients re-balance their career and family connections and find and renew their daily passion and purpose.

I’m a generally energetic person! I think visually, and I’m a hands-on learner. My daughter and I create and build together; our recent projects included a backyard climbing wall, a Halloween multi-tiered spider tunnel, and a lighted wooden snowman. Together with my husband and daughter, we enjoy reading, traveling, gardening, exploring science, dancing, and watching movies. I strive for mindfulness and connection and continue to work on how to balance and sustain my energy in all areas of life.
